  1. I really enjoyed listening to the slave narratives. I personally find it inspirational that although slaves experienced many hardships, they would help each other out and find ways to not live their lives as miserable by integrating music, dance, traditions etc. to their daily lives.

    i very much enjoyed this documentary, the biggest and i believe is the most important message i got from this video is that no matter how terrible the lives of black folk seemed, throughout it all they were still able to put a smile on each others faces. If someone could smile again after enduring what they went through then it shows how strong and resilient the black community is
